Martel Maides Auctions is the largest firm of Auctioneers and Valuers in the Channel Islands. Now into its fifth decade, the company has an existing expertise base and online presence that ensures an international reach and Central London prices.

 We are looking for an applicant of likely managerial status to assist in the future development of the business in a wide ranging role which is likely to span both Jersey and Guernsey – as well as occasional trips to the other islands and the UK.

 While no formal qualifications are essential, some prior experience in the industry is probably a pre-requisite and the successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate a good all round knowledge of antiques and fine art.

 There will also be a need to work in a structured orderly fashion to tight deadlines within a small, but dynamic, business.Enthusiasm, self motivation and initiative will be some of the key characteristics of a new team member looking for an exciting opportunity to join a company with expansionary plans.
